Quiz
Senior Quiz (Team of 2 participants) – Class XI – XII
This is a team event, which will consist of 2 rounds, a written preliminary round followed by a final on-stage round. The Quiz will test the participants’ in depth knowledge of various fields of mathematics. 6 teams will qualify for the on-stage round.
Junior Quiz (Team of 2 participants) – Class IX – X
This is a team event, which will consist of 2 rounds, a written preliminary round followed by a final on-stage round. The Quiz will test the participants’ in depth knowledge of various fields of mathematics. 6 teams will qualify for the on-stage round.
Surprise Event
Junior Surprise Event (1 Participant) – Class IX – X
The details of the surprise event will be disclosed on the day of the event.
Senior Surprise Event (Team of 2 participants) – Class XI-XII
The details of the surprise event will be disclosed on the day of the event. 6 teams will qualify for the on-stage round.
Team Events
Clueless (Team event) – Class IX – XII
This is a team event that will test the participants’ trivia. The details will be disclosed at the beginning of the day. There will be no trophies for this event, but points will be awarded to the winning teams.
Puzzle Hut (Team event) – Class IX – XII
This is a team event that will test the participants’ problem solving skills. The details will be disclosed at the time of the event itself. There will be no trophies for this event, but points will be awarded to the winning teams.
Problem Solving
Four Questions (1 participant) – Class IX – X
This is an individual event that will test the participants’ problem solving skills. At the start of the event, every participant is given Four Questions to solve. Only when they attempt or pass a question will they be allowed to take a new question. The participant will not have more than Four Questions to solve at any time, until all questions are attempted, or the event finishes.
Two Swap (Team of 2 participants) – Class XI – XII
This is a team event that will test the participants’ problem solving skills. Two different papers will be given to the team members. They will work independently. After a period of time, their papers and answer sheets will be swapped. They will then be given the same amount of time to attempt the swapped papers. They may change their partner’s answers.
